Can you answer Stay Cool’s question about IBS?:

I’ve read that you aren’t supposed to eat wheat somewhere, then I read somewhere else that you are supposed to eat wheat, grains, and fiber!! Which one are you supposed to stay away from? This is so confusing.

Please help! I need to know which foods I am supposed to eat and which foods I am supposed to stay away from because I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

IBS Feedback: Hi, it depends on the person really. People have different things which can irritate their bowel and for some its wheat and some its lactose and another person something else. All i can say is try eating foods and note down which ones give you the worst pain, bloating etc. This way you will find out which foods are good with your body and which ones aren’t which can really improve a persons life if suffering from ibs…x
